Dan got an early start to his career. Working in the family construction business, he learned best practices on the construction of foundations, utilites, the building of residential and commercial structures, and public right-of-way from masters of their trades. During high school Dan worked at Pete’s Automotive in Morro Bay, California. After graduation from high school, Dan started his own one person general construction business. Through hard work and tenacity he grew his business into a full-service general building and general engineering company. At the same time, Dan went back to school, earned both a bachelors and master’s degree in accounting, and then continued to and graduated from law school, passed the bar and began his career as a licensed attorney in California and has built bar memberships in several states since then.
There are times when more information is needed to verify what could have happened. Quite commonly, there are situations where one person’s story and another person’s story do not match. The only information the court has is the word of each party. Both people may believe they are right, though.
A witness with professional working experience or expert-level insight into the field can offer better information. They were not there, and they did not see what occurred. However, they are able to provide guidance on what likely happened based on the evidence present.
